Schools Heritage Projects 2022/23

Well done to all the 5th class pupils who took part in this year’s Discover Cork: Schools’ Heritage Project. The girls displayed their projects for us in the school hall before Christmas and we learned so much about our wonderful city!

We had winners in 6 different categories! The girls received their awards at a ceremony held last weekend, led by Councillor Kieran McCarthy and attended by Deputy Lord Mayor Damien Boylan. Well done to all who took part!

Special congratulations are in order for Belle Scannell from Ms Walsh’s 5th class who was awarded the Irish Rail Perpetual Trophy for Creativity for her project What’s the story, Cork? Well deserved Belle!
