Welcome

On behalf of the children and staff I would like to extend a Céad Míle Fáilte and warmly welcome you to Scoil Bhríde, Eglantine, where we create a happy and safe environment for all.

Our school motto is “In Safe Hands”.

At Scoil Bhríde we pride ourselves on being an inclusive school where the abilities and talents of all children are valued, nurtured and developed. A place where social skills and life skills are promoted and pupils are educated to play a meaningful and positive role in society.

At Scoil Bhríde we believe learning should be a joyful experience. Our enthusiastic and dedicated staff are the beating heart of the school and their desire to ensure that every pupil experiences joy and success is evident on a daily basis.

Parental involvement and support are essential ingredients in providing the best education and opportunities for our children. We enjoy a positive and fruitful relationship with our parent body and the wider school community. The Scoil Bhríde Parent’s Association plays an active role in school life and we work together as a team to ensure a happy learning environment.

We are a school rich in tradition. Our children enjoy many of the following; school choir and orchestra, Schoolovision Song Contest, Irish Dancing, quizzes, art, games and sports such as swimming, tennis and GAA.

Chomh maith le labhairt na Gaeilge a spreagadh sa scoil, déantar iarracht freisin ár gcultúr Ghaelach a spreagadh trí gníomhaíochtaí éagsúla, idir cheol, damhsa, amhránaíocht tradisiúnta agus chluichí Gaelacha.

I hope that you enjoy visiting our website and that you get a flavour of life at Scoil Bhríde. You are most welcome to contact the school office should you have any questions or require further information.

Le Gach Dea Ghuí,

Ger O Brien, Príomhoide na Scoile.
