Science Week

In January 2026, our school celebrated its very first Science Week, which was a wonderful success and enjoyed by all pupils. A highlight of the week was a visit from the Animal Roadshow, where children had the exciting opportunity to meet a variety of animals and learn about their habitats, features, and needs. Throughout the week, the whole school explored the life and work of Jane Goodall and discovered how her groundbreaking study of chimpanzees helped us better understand the natural world. Each class also took part in a range of fun, hands-on science experiments, along with quizzes and games that encouraged curiosity, teamwork, and scientific thinking. Science Week was a fantastic opportunity for pupils to learn through discovery, exploration, and creativity.
