Billy Kelleher, MEP visits Fifth & Sixth Classes
Fifth & Sixth Classes were delighted to welcome Billy Kelleher, MEP to Eglantine today. Mr Kelleher came to talk to the girls about the benefits of being members of the European Union.
He also spoke about life as an MEP and his day to day work. He also spoke about how Ireland has changed during our 50 year membership and about the importance of being United in Diversity.
Mr Kelleher also stayed to answer the many excellent questions the girls had about the EU and his experiences of being an Member of the European Parliament
