Lord Mayor
We were delighted to welcome Lord Mayor of Cork Fergal Dennehy to Scoil Bhríde last month. Our junior girls welcomed him into the school with a beautiful rendition of Beautiful City. He answered lots of questions for us we were all particularly interested in his chain of office! 3rd to 6th Class treated the Mayor to Ireland’s Call and presented him with a hamper of Cork goodies. He convinced Mrs O’Brien to allow us a night off homework but asked that we carry out some random acts of kindness in return. We can certainly manage that!
